So happy to have you read my blog and post on it. YES! Thank you for mentioning that a “down economy proves the worth of advertising”. You and I both have worked in advertising for several down economies and can share many success stories about companies that chose to remain bold and brave during challenging times and they came out stronger and a leader in their field while those who pulled back and stopped advertising had the reverse happen. Sorry about my decision to go with a Purple Background with white lettering, but one of my marketing strategy is to use the color Purple everywhere so that when you see “purple” you start to think of Purple Diamond. That requires doing some bold things that others might not. If you met me at a Business event you would know it was me because I wear “purple” Monday through Friday. I carry a purple leather briefcase and I have a full-length purple leather coat that goes over my purple outfits. Yesterday, I was told by a friend who is a graphic designer to go with a white background……she said the same thing you said about it being hard to read. That is not my intent, but it is my intent that I make an impression in a way that you will remember my blog. lol I guess you will remember this one because it was hard to read, but that you liked the content so you finished the thread and even posted. YAY! I do hope you come back and that you will share it with your friends.

I totally agree! Positivity is the key. If you have a great outlook on your life/business others will want to spend more time with you/show a little more interest in your products and you have already won more than half the battle!

Great blog, you have some really insightful ideas, although I must confess I find the white on purple difficult to read.
