ARE PAPER BROCHURES A THING OF THE PAST?
There has been a shift in marketing away from print to doing more email marketing and on-line brochures, but are paper brochures a thing of the past? No, they are actually being used more frequently with smaller businesses who need to look professional without spending too much of their marketing budget.
With easy-to-use templates and high quality printers, having a professional marketing brochure for your business is a smart investment provided you are actively giving the brochure to potential clients and placing them at key areas within your business community like the local chamber office. Be sure that your brochure reflects your company image and offers a marketing message that clearly defines what the benefits of doing business with you are, will hold the reader’s attention, has a call to action and offers all contact information. The brochure must compliment all your other marketing material including your website so be sure to match colors, themes, logo, tag-line, etc. If you are struggling with understanding your brand and your marketing materials look like they were thrown together without any rhyme or reason, please hire a professional who can make your marketing message effective and stimulate sales.
All my best to your success!

In this challenging economy, a strong brand image is more important than ever before. If you are handing out “ordinary” business cards and do-it-yourself brochures, what image are you projecting for your sales prospects in this competitive market? Charlene can help you identify your target audience and create your marketing message. A graphic designer can translate that message into a visual image. A print brochure designed by a graphic designer can also be displayed on your web site.
A strong brand with the correct color scheme to convey your message is essential for businesses of all sizes. Don’t shortchange your business with a standard template. We all need to differentiate ourselves, not mold our unique images to fit standard templates. A small investment to design a new logo, business card, or brochure can enhance your visibility. Visual images are powerful communicators.

Hi Leisha and Joan~ Thank you both for adding to this blog post. I agree with both of you. A good graphic artist can enhance your brochure and offer you a look that is not like anyone else, but if your budget is non-existent and you feel confident in the content you want to use in your brochure there are some great sites that offer easy to use templates. Another great site is http://www.Vistaprint.com
Most of the newer computers come with their own program for brochure template design and you can take your file to any local printer and have what you created printed. Just be sure to review your work carefully and be clear on the message. I have seen established businesses who have struggled on understanding what their brand is and how to create an effective marketing brochure and other marketing material.
Thanks again for posting and please be sure to share this site with your friends. ~Charlene
